Hi. I recently bought a TOPS Operation badger knife. I received it today. The site i got it from is a bit iffy. The one thing that bugs me is that there was no box. I've never bought a TOPS before but is that normal? Beside that, i got a certificate of authenticity and the workmanship seems to be great. Nothing that i notice seems to indicate it could be a fake. The knife also has a serial number with matching embossed certificate of authenticty that was signed by the maker.

DO you think this is a fake or authentic TOPS piece. Thanks in advance

I've got several TOPS and never got any boxes with them...just the knife in a plastic wrap with a certificate...eigther they're all fake or it's the way TOPS do it...:) Cheers!!!

A new TOPS knives will ship in a plastic bag, with the Model Number handwritten on a little white label stuck to the bag.

Included with the knife will be a Certificate of Authenticity as you described.

Sure sounds like the piece you received is authentic.

Ive seen the fakes.. you would know it if it was a fake TRUST me;-) The fakes are horrible. Fit and finish looks like a retarded blind monkey put it together.

HAHAH alright. That's all i wanted to know. I did get it shipped in plastic bubble wrap with the tag. Thanks for all the help y'all

if in doubt give the people at tops a call, i had a question about a street scalpel i used to have and they were very helpful.
