Wouldn’t the Benchmade Bedlam 860SBK be less likely to be faked? It seems like the newer models are the most commonly faked?
 
For some reason unlikely models get picked to be faked. Sometimes it's a regular model so attractive to copy since the pool is large. Other times it's an oddball special edition. No counterfeiter has ever come on here and explained their logic. Clearly opportunity plays a big part but for the rest who knows.
 
$38 on Aliexpress with no branding. Probably a bit more for the deluxe edition.

Yeah, you are right. It seems that it’s difficult to buy older models and be completely sure they’re authentic. When it comes to newer models, I’d probably get them from authorized stores so I know they’re real.
