Hello

I have this Small Sebenza 21 listed in the trade forums. A person here on Bladeforums recently questioned the Authenticity of my Small Sebenza

I removed the original lanyard and pin. Is there anything in the following pictures that would cause you to question the Authenticity of the blade?

I purchased it from a reputable knife company. If it does look like a counterfeit I'd like to know and contact the company!

Thanks!

There is nothing fake about that!! I will reiterate what has already been said; ignore the trolls.

All these guys trying to pay for a counterfeit - what are they thinking?

As the only Authorized Counterfeit Disposal Unit (ACDU) in the United States, please forward the knife post paid to the address listed in my profile for proper disposal.

Looks totally legit to me, look at the choil, counter fits are usually more rounded with less of an acute angle, I know they're gettin' real good at lookin' close but there's as lays tells and the choil's one of 'em. Ignore the trolls, it's fine.

Is that a 2nd lanyard hole towards the end of the handle, or is there a screw missing?

It's a tooling hole to locate the handle on the fixture for machining processes.. If you put a lanyard to that location, it wouldn't last too long.

The lanyard would be just fine! But don't plan on closing the blade! :D

If you put in a lanyard pin, that would be the case..but then again, there is more than one way to put a lanyard in... :D

Any lanyard put that way into my P68 would be perfectly safe. But then, I never close that knife. :D

That all looks real plus the inlayed versions are far less copied in the first place. Screws are right, the grind is right, the inlays look right. There isn't anything that looks off at all.
