Auto-lock old threads?

I've been on the Knife Laws sub-forum for about 18 years now. One thing that has annoyed me all that time is that old threads are always still "open" and so there's always been a problem with some idiot coming along and making commentary on a thread where the last post was 5-10 years ago. Since we've gotten the new site, is there a setting a mod can use to cause threads to lock automatically after a certain period of time passes from the last post?
