I know, I know. This is a question for the auto forum. I will post it there as well, but I want everyone's opinion. Besides, we talk about locks over here about once a week so I value the views held over here as much as anywhere.

Anywho, back to my question.

Are the locks found on most production autos, like Benchmade and others, any more reliable than liner lock folders? We've all expressed concern over using a liner lock for defense, but are autos any better?

Any info is, as always, greatly appreciated

I am curious what others think also. Someone working at Benchmade told me that the larger autos they make fall in between the axis lock (strongest) and liner locks (weakest except for 750 Pinnacle). Seems the auto lock would be the easiest to accidentally disengage with my finger though.
