Auto Mechanics ?

Man, I don't even have a 12 gauge for my toolbox yet.:D

What a Great Christmas gift idea too.
I'll have to tell my wife to get me a new 12 gauge just the garage.:D

You would think that by the time you reach 66 years old you would know that shotguns are for television repair, not stubborn lug nuts. Sheesh, some people!

Mike

that goes right up with the darwin special mention who used a .44 mag to drill some mount holes in a muffler (probably to bolt on the new muffler bearing) but instead of putting the pipe in a vise, he held it between his knees........ only honorable mention because the shrapnel only got one......

surprising, that this one made it to 66 , isn't it!

My brush with stupid came at about 15, just finished a black powder pistol from a kit and could not wait that 'whole week' till my folks could drive me to a huge gun shop that sold black powder. Reading the recipe in the school library (whats the bet that's not there any more?) Picking up the salt peter (posasuim nitrite) and sulfur from a local drug store, and grinding my own charcoal. Nothing even looked close to black powder , but had the caps and balls, keep trying. About the 6th try or so, shooting at an old cast-iron sink, it worked, Not not like the real powder, but enough to send that ball around the sink 180 and stuck in the wood of the shed door,,,,, right next to my head!

Thinking that this guy might be related?

It helps to have a 1/2" drive impact to break the nut off, and occasionally use anti-sieze or a little grease on the threads of the wheel studs.

If I had a 12 guage shotgun in my toolbox I would be in a lot of trouble, a lot of these newer cars are such a PITA to work on.

He obviously forgot his mom telling him, "You'll shoot your lug nuts off!"

And he proved her right.
