So buddy of mine came up to me and pulled out a knife he got as a graduation present. What he pulled out looked like a bechmade 940 or 942 and it was an axis auto and said, "prototype" on the blade. It had 154cm steel and smooth g10 slabs. It was a very cool knife I have never seen before, just thought I would share the experience :thumbup:
 
A 940/942 auto in G10? I'm gonna need to see pictures of this.
 
Only bad part about it was that the knife was partially serrated. My buddy got the knife for graduation, I'll try and get a pic before he heads to ft. Lee for bolc

What the... I am VERY intrigued (as 940s are probably my favorite production knives). PLEASE get a photo. I wonder how it looks like.

I'm wondering if it was customized. I'm sure there are ways to make a regular axis lock into auto, and maybe the G10 slabs were custom scales...
