It's here!

Auto Pro-Tech / Strider collaboration.

154CM and it's basically a strider Lego with pro tech guts. Flips open solid.

I picked this up Saturday but they asked me to wait until Monday to post any pictures. Enjoy oh and get one while they last. 300 made on this run.

I'm not getting why they didn't offer those in a configuration with plain G10 all around.. seems like no reason to have a metal side at all, and it would have been an amazing opportunity to offer a very lightweight knife with a Strider design.

Also, it could be just the angle of your photos but it looks like the blade tip points more at a downward angle than the original Striders. Is that the case?

Very true regarding the g-10. I'll have to check the tip angle. I know Pro-Tech did the fab on this knife and is shipping them to strider. Pro-Tech has a very nice shop from what I hear. And strider was very impressed with the F&F. The owner or Ross Cutlery has a son that owns Pro-Tech so this info came from him. The performance of the Auto action is really solid. It kicks nicely.

One plus to having the Ti on one side is its so smooth it doesn't rip up my pocket and I love the clip on this knife. Perfect retention

Glad they did the "monolithic" G10 scale, thats a really nice touch. Protech quality is always top notch too congrats on that one!

SO is that Pro 154CM or Strider CPM 154. If strider did the heat treat, it will be amazing for sure.
Nice knife and thanks for showing, I did not know they even exist.
Matt

It should be released today. I picked it up at Ross Cutlery in LA. No lock rock at all. It's 154cm and I would imagine they will do an s30v down the road. I forgot to mention they will be selling for $400+tax at all retailers. No price breaks from what I've heard.

To be honest I love strider and I love Protech but this knife is so solid. When you hold it in hand it feels great. The action kicks hard and I love that

Cool knife. My biggest drawback is wondering why they took the time to put a stainless steel back side onto it. I can only assume that they did it for looks. But if they weren't going to do a Ti frame lock like most Striders why even put metal back there in the first place? I would have liked to have seen a Ti frame lock or, I guess, all G-10.

Other than that, I guess a ton of people wanted this design so they made it. I'm sure it will be good seller. Good score AusLoX I hope you enjoy it.

I was there yesterday! Allen the owner told me (when I was there a month ago) that they're going to be phasing out their autos due to trouble from the LAPD. Sad thing, they have such a nice collection of them there.

I do wish they made the back of that titanium instead of steel to make it lighter. The grip on it is solid due to design, so I dont miss g10 on the back that much, but it would be cool if they added that. Love the tight spring in it though. Really kicks upon opening. I believe he said they only did a run of 300 for now and will be sold through Strider.

A couple of Strider dealers have them in stock now and according to a youtube video from blade hq they should have them eventually as well.

I just got me one the other day, I like it so much I ordered another and will probably end up getting one in every configuration
