Does BF not have an auto save function when you are creating a post (sales ad in this case) when you have to step off minimize the screen and come back in? Did not work and it has in the past. Very aggravating to loose content after spending a 1/2 hour putting the dialogue together! Probably should have saved it to a word software program but it has never happened before and I have been down this road many a time.
 
I have seen an auto save notice flash on a corner of the composing box. I never rely on it. Glitches are not our friends.
 
Like Esav said, and you have seen for yourself, it works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. This has burned my butt before, many times.

I learned to select my entire post (if it's long and elaborate, or has a lot of photos, etc.) and hit "copy" once in a while as I'm typing. That way it is saved to the clipboard, and if anything happens you can just paste it all back in. It enables you to take up where you left off. If you rely on autosave it's a crap shoot.
 
If the page clears and resets on you for some reason, the "restore autosave" button does not automatically appear. Hit the refresh button on your browser, and the button will appear in the dialogue box.
 
...on a computer? I do all this stuff all the time on my phone now, and it's very limited. A lot of this stuff is not cross-platform compatible.
