well, I got a package from CRKT warranty today (the serrations on my m16-14sfa weren't grinded right), and I have two gripes. One, they sent me an m16-14sf. That's ok, I guess, at least it's still not made in China. The one that really gets me, though, is that the one they sent me has autolawks instead of the manual lawks (which I think is a great implement).

Anyone know if the autolawks will work like lawks if i remove the spring? I used to think it would, but now that I'm handling one, there doesn't seem to be enough friction to operate it as a manual lawks.
 
that's what i feared. oh well, i guess i'll just have to get used to it, since i want to keep the feature.
