When my grandfather passed away, I inherited his boker automat Kalashnikov 74 (the nice spring action one with the push button). The other day I decided to take the knife apart and clean it. Everything went well and I got the knife back together. But now when I push the button to open the knife, it opens too far. How can I fix this?

you are talking about an auto.....you'll get better feedback in the switchblade/auto forum.
need more details, i'm not quite following ya'. i don't have any of my boker autos' with me right now while typing this, to look at the parts and what might have gone wrong for you.....but did you put the stop pin back in? without a pic, i'm assuming you mean the blade goes past where the stop pin should be that stops the blade when opened? could you post a pic of the issue? thanks....
