I am thinking about carring a BOKER DOUBLE ACTION 061 i am thinking since the button is concealed within the grip and it has thumb studs if i was caught carring it i could pass it off as a folder :jerkit: assuming the officer is not a knife collector

any thoughts?

thanks

Don't carry ANY knife in violation of federal, state, local or county laws. It's childish, and you'll find yourself waking up with Bubba- and I assume you like you rectum at it's current diameter. Anyways, there are plenty of LEGAL one hand openers on the market these days.

If you think the cop is going to be dumb- he isn't. I don't know about the knife in question, but generally, when you open or close the blade on a spring knife, you can easily feel the spring. It doesn't take a collector or genius.

I'm a cop and a collector in PA. If you want a real fast one-handed opener and have a couple bucks, try Klotzli knives. The pivots are teflon-coated. They'll actually open by firmly holding the knife and snapping the wrist in a quick twisting motion. I know this isn't good for the knife but in a pinch, who cares.

In New York City, this will get it classed as a gravity knife.
I believe Canadian Customs would confiscate it for the same reason.

Too bad. Klotzli makes beautiful knives. Outstanding precision.
