Automatic membership renewal

If I am reading things correctly, memberships get renewed and billed automatically, right?

Is there a way to change that? What can I do to make it not renew automatically?

I am changing jobs right when my renewal is due but I will need every dime that I can scratch together until the smoke clears and we get our footing back.

I wasn't aware of a renewal/billing option.
It's pay first then you're renewed.

No. When your subscription expires, you will need to renew it manually, we do not believe in recurring subscriptions without your consent. You will get an email near the end of your subscription period notifying you it is about to end.

I was reading this at the bottom of the paid subscription page under my "Settings" tab.


"After the initial subscription period is complete, the subscription will automatically be renewed with a new charge."

I always go to the FAQ first. I find it clearly written and it is authoritative.
