We had a nice cool day in the high 60's and i had the chance to burn some vacation before i lost it at work so i decided to take a short hike at greenleaf state park about 20 min from my home.

the trail was cut a bit short due to blackpowder deer season.

had a good day, thanks for looking

Great stuff buddy, gotta love this time of year eh !

How do ya like that TOPS Knife ?

The Pasayten has been a good knife, had it almost 5 yrs now. Actually forgot it was in my pack until I settled down for lunch, so I toke it out to play and for another photo op. The Izzy was my primary blade, used it to harvest some tinder while I was out but used the TOPS to clear a few tangles and chop out a sapling for a walking stick. Still is primarily a food prep knife for me tho. I would easily recommend it to you, Pit. Comfortable and capable. I will try and use it more and post more pics. It rotates with my Esee 4 and TOPS Mohawk hunter on longer hikes. Plan on hitting some of my older trails soon, been a few years. My son is ready to go out again also. He will be ready to take one over in a few years( only 4 right now).

I like the bridge.. looks like nothing I've seen around here. Very neat.

Thanks for the pics.

Cool pics man, nice scenery thanks for sharing. I like swinging bridges, we have several around here. The pic of the bee on the thistle is really cool. The dried flowers of that stuff makes a great tinder on dry days.
