Hey folks,
recently i've been playing around with my P-SARK, and i've also been thinking about getting myself a 98 Commander in the near future, say about 2 months time?...just wanted to know wherether any of you suspects have an extra NIB Satin finish Commander which you would be willing to sell around then, just thought i would ask first, so that i can start making some preps...thanks for any info, kindly email me, or reply to my post if you have, or have any information regarding it.
Thanks in Advance!;)

NIB samples have traded hands recently for $400+

Not the rarest Commander (200ish made), but damn hard to find.

The hard part about getting a satin ground 98 is getting someone to part with it. It's my favorite Commander.

Ah...Thanks for the Heads-Up John...guess i'll have to start saving up for one...by the way, which is the rarest Commander version then? is it the GT-GH models?

Outside Prototypes . . . .

"Mil-Spec" 99 Commanders (unk number made, very, very rare)
Wrong side Logoed 2001 with 98 Style body (I think like 10 made)
Satin 98 Commanders

You get those three and "Your the man" :D

I've got one that hasn't left my side in 4 years now... it kicks ass. I've been checking out the various incarnations since they first came out and I'm still happiest with my '98.

Granted, since then the blade geometry has been improved, and the liner serrations are better, but I still like the thicker '98 with it's more pronounced chamfering. Just me...

If you find it difficult to find a 'true' satin 98 (one of which I would love myself), consider another satinizing job. You did a grat job on your PSARK. As of late, I know on at least four 98's which were "satinized" which turned out remarkably!

Mac:

Are you kidding me? I don't have four "satinized" 98's. One of the four recent projects of which I was refering to was yours !!!

Raye,
I thought you would have forgot about my 'Project Satin Commander II.' Thanks for remembering.
