Hey!

Are these available from Emerson knives now?
Or am i wrong that they should be included in the regular production after "Extreme Outfitters" sold out the first run(s)??

Any help appreciated

My knives!

Extreme Outfitters had a year exclusive on the product, but I'm not sure when that year started. They began delivering SOCFKs in late June, early July I believe.

I'm anxiuosly awaiting a second Green-T SOCFK from Steve. I wish someone would invent a Star Trek type transporter system for deliveries! He seemed to indicate that he had quite a few Black-T and Green-T SOCFK's on hand. I wish he'd hurry up and get is website back up and running.

I have not been able to talk with Steve lately but Bobby called Emerson for me to learn that about 550 Black-T SOCFK's in both Tanto and Spear point have been made. About 30-40 Green-T Tanto's have been made. All have been serrated. When I get more definitve numbers I will post them.

Guys,

Don't remember how many SOCFK's have been made but, Extreme has a 1 year exclusive on them. It will be an ongoing model in any case. Too good a knife to discontinue.

So Derek, do you mean that after one year the SOCFK will be a regular production item available to all distributors and retailers?

Waved CQC-7's and SOCFK's...Ernie is becoming a god. We have to be humble about this, hence the small "g" in "god."

Now Derek, about the pesky idea I had of a Production CQC-9 Eagle? Hmmm...

Seriously, my wife loves Hooked Blades for Defensive Carry, and the Spyderco Merlins just ain't up to par in craftsmanship or safety in comparison. That liner lock will make all the difference in the world.

wasn't there an sofck up for sale on the forums earlier this month? I htnk it's still there, just not bttt'ed. Good luck

Hi guys,

Seems as though Emersons position with the SOCFK needs a bit of clarification with regards to Extreme Outfitters.

All of us at Emerson knives are EXTREMEly (it's a joke, get it?) pleased with the job Steve and company are doing with the knife. They will continue to be the sole distributor of the SOCFK knives. Please continue to show them your support and let them know that they are doing a great job.

Sniperboy, It was my SOCFK that was up for sale, but I've decided to keep it. I just can't figure out why no one wants one

It must be too close to the holidays.

In line with Derek's request, Steve and the boys at Extreme are doing a great job. I keep looking for the post man with my Green-T, serial numbered SOFCK and my SARK.

Now all they need is to do a plain edge, tanto blade version......

Regards,

Ed

I had asked this very question to Steve within the last week and his answer was at this time there are only Tanto blade SOCFKs
available in Green-T blades
