I tend to be very impatient.. My mother in-law ordered me my first Emerson (CQC-15) as a present a few weeks ago directly from the factory and its all I can think about. Does anyone know what kind of wait there usually is for a new batch and does Emerson fill their direct orders before sending to vendors?

OP, do you mean to say one was purchased on backorder? I wasn't aware EKI would sell a std model that wasn't readily available unless a ltd edition model. I would call to see about the estimated availability date and have the invoice/order number ready cause they will ask for it.
