I just ordered a 2013 catalog from Case, and another "buggy" one handed wonder company out in the Rockies ;) :foot: that shall remain nameless. I get much more current, on the money information from Bladeforums about new knives and collaborations, than I do from reading magazines. However, I still like to read a magazine, like Knife World, and I also like to sit down and pore through a catalog. Maybe it goes back to when I was a kid, and would read the Sears catalog, circling every GI Joe, Transformers and He Man toy I could find (didn't know mom and dad were really stretching it thin to cover a few toys at Christmas).

I forgot to ask about a Queen catalog when I saw Ken Daniels at the Chesapeake show. It would be an overwhelming task if GEC put out a catalog, and they would have to update it about every week with new patterns (it would be neat to see a monthly updated PDF file with all of their patterns, in numerical order, but do they already have that).

Does anyone know of ANY traditional company catalogs that are out there, paper or strictly online? I'd like to get a Boker catalog (patterns actually made in Solingen, not just stamped Solingen ;)). I got a Moore Maker catalog last year. Could anyone recommend any other companies? Even if their knives are made by another company, I would like to get some catalogs.

Reading purposes and all that you know...

I try all of them even if they say they only do online sometimes they still send a brochure of sorts. I get Kershaw, Boker, Buck, Case, Tops, KaBar and A.G. Russell every year.
It is good to sit and peruse through a paper catalog even if not just a knife catalog. Every time I see a Cabelas I flip right to the knife section. The same with other ones.

Yep, I do the same thing with the Cabelas catalog, but it's better to visit the one in Hamburg ;).
