Latest offering from Don Fogg.SilverNGray Bowie.
Carbon steel spear point Bowie with active hamon. The blade is 10 inches with an over all length of 15 inches. The fittings are textured iron with silver spacers and a zircote wood handle. The basic handle shape is octagon that transitions into the guard. This is a stout, sharp knife with clean and elegant lines. It comes with a display stand.

I got my reply in within the hour,of course, too late.
Anybody else luckier ?

That was a very nice piece. I particularly like how nicely craved the guard is. I also like the use of silver.

I think I was luckier, but not nearly lucky enough. As usual, I'm just swept away by the blade, but lean more toward Mr. Fogg's more organic shaped handles. If I was expecting anything it wasn't the fairly straight spine and rakish plunge line. Wow!

I love that Don posted that in the Middle of Blade show giving those unable to go a shot at something.

Dude, you are just way too dialed in. :p

Terrific bowie from Don, though I do wish he would do these as a draw, rather than first response. But mostly I am just glad that he makes available such fine pieces as this from time to time.

Interestingly enough, I for one am much more interested in the fittings than in the blade on this particular knife.

That's what makes this thing we love so interesting. The same features that draw some in, turn others away. Neither necessarily right or wrong.

Usually with classic cars, the car is right or it isn't. No debate.
