Avatar is giving me trouble . Please help me.

Hi folks. I have a picture of my cute little baby id like to use. It is on photobucket. Small at 80/120 and only 4.9 for storage. Am I copying the wrong link. I use the Img Url. It just says invalid file.

I resized and used a pic from my computer, I think if you have it up on photobucket, use one of the direct address selections, or select it from your computer files.
The img files are to post pics.
 
I tried all the links at the proper size from photobucket and that did not work. I then tried from my comp. I have an old pic saved up. How would I size it. It just says wont upload file...
Im at a loss.
 
If you have a photo editor program, use it to resize and then save it with "save as" and another file name.
or
Copy and place the photo on photobucket back onto your computer and then upload it as your avatar.
 
File size was too large. almost 15 KB. Has to be smaller than 9.8KB
This one is 5.82KB and 120x120 I think that is the picture you wanted?

Just right click, copy image location and paste that in option 1 for custom avatar.
 
pls don't give up on the fink fhotos, only reason i come here. great looking baby, i was waiting for your typical joke. the fink may be getting old ????
 
I dont know what a fink is? Thank you Rat. That was it. Im trying to pick a nice one of both my daughters later. But this is my new edition with her santa pj's at christmas time. Thanks again! I have no idea how you were able to get it to work.
 
coldsteelrocks , a fink is a finch, a small bird. Gangsters would call a squealer a fink. We used to use it as a tease or gentle insult with little kids, that they were always chirping away. When my daughter was tiny, I'd tell her, "You're a fink!" and she'd get all serious and say, "i no fink !!!" Then I'd have to hug her to calm her down. :)

Thank you. Lol. Ive got my names and games for the little ones. That is old school. The one in my avatar is Sophia. She is just over three months old now. My first was born the day before my Birthday a few years back. Isabella. What a gift they are. No matter what I go through. I hold one of them and time slows down.

In this case the fink was Rat Fink, like the Ed "Big Daddy" Roth cartoon.

I used photoshop, Made a 120x120 document, sized the original image to fit, saved for web with jpg compression to shrink the file size.
