Avatar photo not showing....

When I click on "My Profile" it displays my photo under my name. But when I post, my photo does not appear. What did I do wrong?

Your Profile picture is different from your Avatar (picture), which-- once selected-- is what will display with each post.

(You can choose the same image for both, if sized correctly.)

Click Settings at the upper right of this page (just to the left of Log Out), then scroll down and look for the My Settings sidebar links on the left. "My Profile" is the first subcategory under My Settings, with "Edit Avatar" as the third choice on the list.

At a guess, I'd say you added a Profile Picture instead of an Avatar. They are located in the same general area, but they are not the same thing.

My other question: is there somewhere on this site that I can move my knife photos to? Where I can store them, like in an album. Then I can easily move them from this site's album or whatever to various posts. Or do I have to use the attachment setting and move photos from my computer each time?

If you go to your profile page and scroll down on the left, you will see a section on Albums.
I never played with that, but it may be what you're looking for.
