Although you can't actually tell, it's two balisongs formed to make a D. I then duplicated the image.
 
What size file do you have to use for the avatar. Or do you go by pixel size.

go to
- User CP (top of the page)
then
- Edit Options
- Change Avatar (bottom of the page)
then it's explained at the bottom of the page : 50x50 pixels.

I advice you to save in gif 64 or 32 or less colors (to reduce the size of the file to the maximum: the heavier the pix will be, the longer it will be to download the threads pages)

... or JPG for a photo (which requires a wider color range).
If you don't have Photoshop, you can download Paint Shop Pro demo version to do it.

heh.. yea 50x50 isnt much... but i have a webcam and i just like playing around with it when im bored.. so yea.. i take lotsa pics :D

Yup...I'll just have to find the larger photo and do a re-adjustment to it...
 
this is the only one that i found that actually works... i wanted this cool lightning one but it didnt work..

EDIT: just thought I'd add some info about my avatar.
It's a pic I took from my brothers' Pitbull terrier, and as I hate to have pictures taken of myself, I used this one.
I'll try to get a picture of myself someday though.
 
I tried loading a Jpeg from my "my documents file" and it wouldn't work. What all did you do to get your's to work?:confused:
