.avi files

I occationally see posts that include pictures. This is very nice for most static knives, but my main interest is butterfly knives. Butterflies are dynamic. They're about movement. So, I just got one of these cheap CCD cameras and hooked her up. Now, I can make .avi files of myself demonstrating Bali Song manipulations.

However, I can't figure out how to get them into a post.

I use Netscape, and when I drag the file and drop it into the message area on the post screen, Netscape opens and plays the file for me instead of putting it into my post.

Any suggestions?

It's not going to happen.

I'd suggest uploading the file to a server somewhere and linking to it so that others can download it and check it out.

But how do other people get pictures in? I've tried .jpeg files and get the same result.
