Aviator vs Shadow III

I am considering these two smaller CRKs for EDC. They are the same size and weight and both come with the brilliant pancake sheath. Having never handled either, I am going purely off pictures and specs.

First, is the Aviator discontinued? It is readily available online but is not listed on the CRK site any more.

Second, what do you all think of the teeth on the back of the aviator? I hve never had a knife with a "sawback" before. Probably more rugged than the saw on a Victorinox, but how easy is it to use?

Last, the point on the Shadow III looks extremely durable, but how good is it for fine cutting?

I have small hands, yet thought the Aviator handle felt too small even for me. I sold it.

I have the Shadow III and I think it is great. I decided on it because I often with a fixed blade use my week hand on the back of the blade and the Aviator spine is not hand friendly, but I never have tried to cut a limb off with a knife. I guess it depends on what function you have in mind. For skinning, can opening and general cutting any CRK will be a great choice. :)
