I am impatiently waiting for my new knife from Michael Tinker Pearce. He calls it a "Handsax." If all goes well, here is a picture of it.

Yep. You have posted a Microsoft Word file in which you have inserted the picture file. You need to post the picture file itself. Its suffix/extension should be .jpg, .gif, or .tif, which will let you know that it is a picture file.

Peace.

I am sorry for the .doc, but I have not figured out a way to save pics at work w/o doing a copy/paste to WORD. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, orthogonal1, Tinker's work is very nice. You ought to see some of his highland dirks. Those are to die for. Here is his website so you can join me in drooling. :)

Hey Hugh,

Nice looking knife there. What are the dimensions on it? As for saving the pictures I assume Tinker is sending them to you in an email? Just right click on the attachment and select the "save as" option. It will allow you to save the picture alone as a .jpg to your computer and then you can upload it here...

Actually, they came out of the SFI thread where he first showed the knife and from which I bought it.

It finally came yesterday! It is even better in the steel than in pictures. I'll try to post some measurements and such later.

Hugh,

Here's a pic of your knife (and a stunning one too, BTW)!
