Sunday marks my 1 year anniversary with my wife. She went above and beyond by surprising me with the full ti Lionsteel T.R.E. I wasn't ever completely sure if she was listening while I blabbed on about knives, but apparently she was. She did her own research, and picked this knife out entirely on her own. I wanted to show this knife off a bit and let everyone see it up close.
I am honestly blown away. Full 3d machined titanium scales, rounded spine, floating backspacer, bearings, a steel lockbar insert and over travel stop, anodizing on the clip and spacer, and a 3 inch m390 blade. Man... this is one hell of a package for a sub 7 inch folder. It weighs around 3 oz, making it perfect for an every day office knife/gentleman's folder. The action is VERY smooth, and surprisingly, locks up like a vault. No blade play, no lock stick. Fit and finish are SUPERB! The knife came with a detachable thumb stud/disc and flipper tab. I opted to remove the flipper because the knife actually fills out my hand this way. The ergos are super comfortable, and the overall balance is just awesome. The knife slides in and out of the pocket with ease. The clip and scales don't create any drag, so its easy to pull/put away with one hand. I had no idea how much I would love this knife. I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality, premium small edc, with an emphasis on beauty. Theres truly nothing left to be desired! Enjoy the pics!
