I just got home after spending a good portion of my day at the Buck HQ in Post Falls, ID. Thanks to some good connections (My Aunt and Uncle) I got a personal tour of the factory and got to meet and spend some time with C.J. Buck. Needless to say, this experience has made my week. Everyone was extremely friendly, the factory was extrordinarily clean, and C.J. was a great guy to talk to. Not only did he personally autograph two of my knives with an engraver, he also showed me around the offices, introduced me to his designers, and even let me look at a new protoype AO that was very very cool, I already want one. In any case, this experience has only made me even more proud to be a Buck customer, and I see a lot of my future business heading their way. Thanks again to C.J. Buck and everyone else who ways so nice to me today. Great Experience! :)

dpimpc,
I'm jealous! I plan to take the factory tour this summer. I was just in Spokane last Friday on business but didn't have time to make it over to Post Falls. Thanks for the report!

I have no idea what you're talking about Goose!
You know what? I am one dense sh*t at times. I thought you started the thread about YOU visiting the plant and getting a blade signed.

And, I was wondering if you had your Five-0 blade signed.

In the words of Rosanna Anna Danna..."never mind" :foot:

Buckaholic. he signed both my 889 and 882, because those were the only two I had on me, I left my 110 at home. I will try and post pics later tonight.

You're braver'n me...If I have six Honey Brown Lagers and a couple shots of Butterscotch Schnapps a year, I figure I'm on a binge...

...you echo my sensitivity as well as far as "inbibing" goes...I get light-headed walking past the liquor display at the grocery store ...LMAO... :p

Ooh,ooh - you found a Froggie!!! Is that from eBay??? Do you believe what an original Froggie goes for???  :)

...with things the way they are today I can only imagine that if I had a "real" Froggie I could buy out a good portion of our National Debt...LOL...  :p

Hell, I've never had a Butterscotch Schnapps but I seen 'em and smelled 'em. I think that stuff will knock ya for a loop!!!
I've cut back on my boozing  ...relative I guess.
That day with the Budlights and takillya, it was a birthday gig. It don't take much for me anymore...about 2am/closing-time I was checking out 110s seeing which one I should date.

Reminds me of the "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou" movie where the frog is in the box. Ya can prob sell the frog box (w/o the frog even) for $100 on flea bay.
I'm thinking I might start auctioning off my warranty paperwork...

HEY DotsPerInch (DPIMPC)...where's that pic???

Goose.
BCCI 1190

Haven't gotten around to it yet Buckaholic. Where'd ya get dots-per-inch from? I'll have photos in the next day or so.

DPI - dots-per-inch. Oh for the days when printers were so loud you had to build a box around'm and I still had most of my teeth. Long gone I'm afraid.

"dpi"mpc...
Yep, what Willie said.
Goose.

Cool beans.
I was wondering how the signature would look on the dark finish of a blade.
Thank you...
Goose.
