Awesome Christmas for Me!!

Well . . . I'm almost speechless.

My sweet wife surprised me with a most wonderful gift this Christmas: a custom knife collaboration from David Lisch and John Cohea. I'm amazed that she was able to keep it a complete secret from me, but Dave helped most magnanimously by shipping her the completed knife before he cashed the check, so it wouldn't show up on the bank's website before I received it last night.

This is my fourth custom from Dave Lisch, and the first sheath from John Cohea, who specializes in period knife/hawk/sheath packages. Snakeskin damascus and amber stag, the knife is 8-1/4" OAL, with a 4-1/8" blade from plunge to tip. The knife weighs 7.02 ounces, and the sheath is 3.21 ounces. Enjoy the pics!
