this video series is pretty awesome for explaining the convex edge and how to sharpen it, as well as making a strop and using it.

There's no substitute for good props (great video)

This tutorial CONVEX SHARPENING THE BRKCA WAY is fairly close with the video, though the video is easier to follow.

I thought those videos where very well done. The guy obviously put a lot of effort into them and I, for one, think he deserves to win whatever knife he chooses.

Also like to add that thanks to those videos, I am grasping a better understanding of convex edges and am about ready to try. As soon as I get my my materials together.

I think he did win something (some kind of barking? barkie? ), thats how the vids ended up on the knivesshipfree website.
