Awesome Documentary on PBS

My old Cavalry regiment! We ,during the Korean War were between the horses & the heilocopters. In other words,we were ground pounders. The mounted Cavalry ended in the Phillipines early in WW II. They had to eat their horses & fight as foot soldiers until the surrender.
The Cavalry wes formed again during the Kennedy-McManara era I believe but they rode 'copters into battle.Hairy ? I'll bet.
Am interested in seeing the new weapons. We used WW II stuff, heavy but VERY reliable.

Sadly, I only taped 1 hour to watch later. My friends told me after that it was 1 1/2 hours long. Oh, well,as they said in service,"Theres always some SOB that didn't get the word ."
