I just won a Brian "Tighe Coon" on e-bay for $207. It came from a pawn shop in Oklahoma. I know I have seen a post dedicated to great e-bay wins on this forum, but I can't find it and I had to share this. This knife is amazing! So does anyone else have any amazing e-bay wins, or just amazing deals they found? if so post some pics.

Lovely deal:)

This month has been good for me on deals as well. Picked up two Gerber 06's for $50 and traded one of them for a Buck 124:D

Nice score! I thought I did good landing a Brend Nemesis for $400. This takes the cake.

I should be getting this guy tomorrow... older Tighe in damasteel.

Does anybody know anything about this knife? Model?

Nice Score, I dont know the maker, but the knife looks sweet.

I got a nice small "P" style sebenza with ATS-34 blade on ebay for $200. I also got my first sebenza, a mint large regular with BG-42 blade for $280. Also got a mint cocobolo/damascus mnandi for $380. I got several others as well, but these stand out. There are deals to be had if you happen to hit it just right, just like here on the Exchange.

I just picked up a Boye Basic 3 for $60 on craigslist. It's been used, but not abused. Think I got a pretty good deal since they go for a little over $300 new. Anyone have an opinion?

Congrats on your score, but I'm ambivalent about this kind of news.

I was all set to order a custom knife from a well-known maker. Until my ebay searches suggested that custom tacticals don't retain value that well.

A few months back a limited edition folder from one of the most repected maker went for less than $300 when it should have fetched 2 to 3 times more if sold in a knife community.

That's why I refuse to sell on flea bay.

Thrill, what you bought is a Boye Basic 3 BDS. BDS stands for BOYE DENDRITIC STEEL. Retails for about 180ish. Still an awesome score.

During the "golden age" of Schrade collecting, the time just after 2004 when Imperial-Schrade went bankrupt, I caught quite a few interesting deals on eBay.

This was from the display at the Schrade factory, a collection that was sold off a piece at a time. The can is still filled with tobacco, including the original coupon to mail in for the knife deal.

Here's another Old Timer set with bone handles and matching serial numbers. It was listed with a reasonable "buy it now" price and I jumped right away; it would have sold for much higher had it been a traditional auction:
