A2 steel on that one. I usually make the Tusker with A2, O1 or 1084.

VERY nice blade there Scott!!! I have one of your larger knives @ about 7"... but have been 'lusting' after one of these 5" bladed Tuskers for a while. Never see them for sell when I have cash and then see them when I'm broke. Too many knives on my want list and not enough cash to go around.
