First off I'd like to thank Canadian knifemaker James McGowan for his AWESOME sheathwork...this is exactly what I wanted!

I love the tan colour..it is lighter than I expected but that is a good thing! I think it matches the tan / tan AK47 quite well

the other night i put on all my gear..... maxpedition pack, surefire and about fifteen knives.... all in black fatigues.... my wife walked in the door and asked how my day went..... and put away the groceries.... never said a word...lol

Thanks everyone.

I should mention that I showed my AK47 and sheath to lots of people at the Canadian Knifemaker Guild show..everyone LOVED it...lots of positive things said about the Busse :)

Here I am picking up my sheath from james

He also made a sheath to mount my Strider DB to my Safariland 6004 holster (that I am also wearing in the pics above)

You know you are a knife nut when you make your knife more accessable than your pistol... You can probably get the knife out in just over second, but I'm going to bet it takes you at least 3.25 to get your first shot off with your holster slung back like that.

Good stuff!

FWIW, I put my sheath on the straps that run through the paddle portion on the 6004. It doesn't get in the way of the bail at all and it keeps things nice and compact on my leg.
