Howdy -- i hadn't spent much time over this way but after spying the BK2 and getting my hands on one, i had to post.

I see what all the fuss is about -- can't wait to put this thing to use. Amazingly sharp out of the box although it'll get a convex edge put on soon. Awesome quality for $56+free ship. But it had to have micarta so I swapped the scales and OWWW MAN.

This thing is so comfortable in the hand even over the Fat ASH Busse. This BK2 will take front seat to my TAK1 for the next outdoor trip. Can't wait to put some wear on it. Good stuff!

The Bk2 is pretty awesome, certainly lives up to all the hype and praises. You will love it even more once you start chopping sh*t with it.

Yeah, its a great knife. One of the best, IMO for a hard use knife.

Something about the design, weight, and feel, just speaks volumes to the hand. From the first time I got one, I've never really looked back. :D

Everytime I head outdoors, I got through the same thing, what knife to take? This knife, that knife, what if this, or what if I need to do that. Some of my lesser knives would be alright to take, but I want something I can have confidence in. BK2 is one such blade.

Glad to see you over here, Splittin, stick around, and hang out some. :D

That BK2 is a heck of a knife. My go to blade as well. Glad you got ahold of one, and welcome to our little corner of the asylum. We will have your padded cell ready just as soon as possible. Would you care to sample the kool-aid whilst you wait? :D

What flavor we making now? We still doing black? I was hoping we moved on to green, but eh, it all tastes gooder. :D

think about how many more Beckers you can buy if you sell a Busse? :)

Derek/Moose -- all too aware of the dangers of getting caught up in this. Fun discovering first-hand a quality knife that you get to actually beat on.

Ha. Don't get me wrong -- love the Busse's that i have for their own excellent merit. Still great for cracking walnuts on the desk but this BK2 is going to hell and back without me feeling too badly. This will do - yessir this will do.

Have a good wknd folks.

And therein lies one of the largest characteristics that make BKT such great knives. You can beat them, and not have to worry about how much money you spent on them. Me and my Ranger buddy, talk about the allure of the Kabar 1217(or variants), $50 and you can abuse them to no end, and never feel like you wasted your money.

Inexpensive, quality knives, BKT is thy name.
