Timberweasel would just like to announce the safe arrival of a new happy healthy CRK unto his stable! A beautiful Small Sebenza 21 Insingo with micarta inlays was delivered at 4:15PM weighing in at 2.8oz. Here she is with her big sister and 'Picky Girl' (cousin Mnandi.) :D

Nice snag on that Micarta Insingo. I was looking at it but couldn't bring myself to jump on it. Enjoy!

Timberweasel ..... don't want to hijack your thread ..... especially since this is definitely non-knife related ..... but your thread really hit a chord with me. We followed a similar path when our daughter was born. Was always very busy in my early career and decided to wait (what turned out to be quite a long time) to have a child. Anyway, our family until that point consisted of dogs (two Yorkies and a Pomeranian). When our daughter was born, a good friend of mine designed a birth announcement which represented our lives until that point:

Anyway, reading your post reminded me of this .... which is a good thing, since I am more prone to forget things at this point in my life!!

Congrats on the new addition to the family!

Congrats on your new bundle of joy ;D
Great knife, I hope that it makes you proud and finds a great job when it grows upnas your main edc blade.

I was originally a little concerned that one of two things would happen when my Small Insingo arrived: 1) that I'd prefer it over my Large and the Large would sit unused until I decided to sell/trade it off or 2) vice-versa. Turns out, my worry was unfounded. Both are spectacular and I like having the size option. :)

small world, mine arrived this week too. on tuesday. that whole monday MLK federal holiday no mail thing was rough. it was just sitting there at the post office calling me, and i couldn't get to it...

so i know EXACTLY how happy you are. great knife. my current fave, and not just because it's the newest. i need small for everyday carry so i trend towards the smalls for size, or the occasional mnandi. the micarta adds texture, grip, width, and style. it's a great addition to a great knife. and love the insingo blade shape.

so congrats to both of us on getting the same GREAT knife this week!

in the 'it's a CRK thread, i'll talk about CRK knives' spirit, my second place favorite that was displaced is a dog's paw small sebenza (silver colors). i'm a veterinarian, kind of have to like the whole dog paw prints on a knife thing. and the scotchbrite satined blade on that one is great. that one is fighting hard for pocket time, but the micarta insingo is winning handily this week.

congrats again.

Congrats on yours as well! Nice to see a fellow Beckerhead also crawl outta the bush and into something fancy from time to time!:D
