May have been posted or not but thought this would fit right in here. Tonight on the History Channel is the series debut of Ax Men. Looks really cool. Aside from the extreme danger these guys love the work. You google: History Channel Ax Men and get some really cool insight on the series and video bios on the guy's themselves.

Watched it last night. those guys need some lessons in being safe. The rush for money gets lots of people killed. Outliving your competition would be a good thing for those guys to try to do.

Am I the sicko who saw the innuendo in the name? Ya know, preference for certain parts of the woman:

"I'm a t*ts man."
"I'm an ax man."

No? :D
 
I guess I'm not the only one whose mind immediately goes in that direction,........................; all the time. ;)
 
The History Channel was just at my College(Paul Smiths College) to film for Modern Marvels. They came to film for an episode about the ax. Appartently they filmed my schools Woodsmen's team.
 
Had to dig this thread up to ask a question about this season.

I really enjoy this show, but the swamp logger fella (Shelby Stanga) really bothers me with his gun handling. I realize he's out on the back side of beyond, but the way he waves his gun around and just blazes away whenever he feels like it isn't right.

Then I see this on his Ruger Super Blackhawk:

What the heck purpose does this serve? Is this like swamp gangsta or something? :confused:

Shelby, if you gets teh internets down theah in de swamp, good on ya -- you're a crazy man, but I admire how hard you work and how you find a way to get the job done. :thumbup:

Watching guys (and a girl) do well at a dangerous, strenuous job in the great outdoors, in places I may never get to, is good times. :thumbup:
