Hey all,
I'm looking for an axe carrying case, I love the one ray mears sells as a "woodlore folding bucksaw case" I don't need one to carry a buck saw or anything else I just want the axe case like that one. I would order one but they have been out of stock forever.
Does anyone know where I can get one that is a similar design? Or maybe any of the sheath makers or leather guys on here might make something like this?
I'd like it of it had some other small pockets and stuff so I could make a little kit out of the bag, I want it for day trips or maybe if I do a multi day trip I could bring it along so processing wood at my campsite would be easier.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.:D:thumbup:

If you ask this question in the Sheath subforum, I'll bet the leather benders will know. It's worth a shot.

I had checked that one out, I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I don't know if I like it for 110$, maybe if it was leather but for canvas it seems like a lot.

If you are just looking for a carry solution, check this out...

And I would recommend Bushcraft Leatherworks if you are not going to make it yourself.

Abo4ster, that is pretty cool. Is that a full sized axe or is it a smaller version?

Mossy, I'm going to have to check on the size. I have 3 axes I like, but the one I care about is a really old one that I rehabbed and now use all the time. I will grab it an measure it.
