Hey there,
Been looking to restore some old axe heads and likely re-haft them. I commonly see that people picked up a nice new handle from there "Old time general stores" however where I live there are none. The reason I ask is because I could easily go get an axe handle from Lowes or Home Depot, but many of the handles I have seen have a bad grain, and or are warped or bent. I'm looking for a place online that I can get a nice quality hickory (or any strong quality wood) handle and preferably there be a variety of lengths. I have no problem fixing the head to the handle and possibly putting a wedge in.

I've not ordered from them, but Tennessee Hickory products seem to know how to make handles.

Posted this picture on another thread, but they sure do.
