Axe & hatchet display

For some time I've though how nice it would be to have my collection on display, though it consists of nothing special I'd still like to see it, the big problem is making it look good as they don't really lend themselves to being displayed due to their shape, anyway the time has arrived to give it a go.........
This will either succeed or just suc......

I split a couple of pine boards that used to be shelves then shaped them roughly with homemade adzes.

Thank you. Made from car torsion bar spring, I made four a few years ago.

And on the display theme, this is how they are on the wall at home!

And back to my axe display, wood stained, sanded & oiled.........

Holm oak also a very nice handle material for such tools down in the southern regions.

Hatchets now up as well.

Some of what I've hung up are users but wanted as much up on the wall possible.
A real eclectic mix but pretty happy with how they turned out, a bit of adjustment still needed on the hangers (nails with rubber tube slipped over them) they mainly need driven in to make some shorter.
Anybody else got em on the wall?

Hammer time!

Teak rack, hammers leveled by pieces of black rubber tube wedged in above the handles in the back holes.
