I found this head in my ol mans shed last night along with a craftsman no.6 hand plane. He didn’t have any info on the head or where it came from but has been there a long time. The head is well worn. It has a hint of a phantom bevel and has some stamping I can’t quite make out. Looks like a letter c or possibly o. Then some pitting then the letters co. Then below that is a very faint stamp I believe says premium. The forging makes me believe it is older than any of my other heads. Here’s some pics any help would be appreciated.

No pics!

It is saying I can’t post my content because it may be inappropriate or spam related. Try later if it persists contact administrator. I’m doing the same as always. How annoying.
Wow that's really odd. I knew you had posted pics before so I was wondering why you were having difficulty. Hopefully you'll get it figured out because now my interest is piqued! Sounds aggravating...

I will keep trying. I’ve searched the net but haven’t found one like it.

Can't place it. I vaguely recognize it though. I'm sure somebody on here will! Good job persevering on the photos.

The bottom word will likely be the main identifier, but I can't make it out in those pics.
