Hello, brand new user. Recently started getting into restoring/refurbishing old axe heads and just picked up a few online. Two of the three are clearly identifiable, but I can't figure out the third. It weighs 3.8lb, measures 6 5/8" from poll to the widest part of the bit, 4in cutting surface. It appears to be a Dayton pattern. Stamped on the left side is "US" with a misaligned "E" following. Then there's an odd symbol that I can't make be...anything. Any ideas?

Those look like aftermarket cold stamp marks. Probably done by the past owner. Can't help with ID. Do you have an eye down photo of it?
