On British Blades (www.britishblades.com, Members projects, Pallet Boxes) is a neat way to hold/display axes and hatchets. Straight back, half circle front, wooden fixture. Think of an old rifle rack, with two levels. Individual slots to put your axes in, blade first, then the upper level, the same thing, just set back a little and slots to put your hatchets in. Maybe someone with better computer skills than I have could pull a photo to show. If you have a lot of axes, this might be what you need to display them. John

I found a picture of one like that. It's on my like to do list. :)

But as one poster remarked in the link

"Oh - I like that very much - a very simple, elegant storage solution.
The only problem with it that I can see is ...........

.......... I'd be tempted to try and fill it :D "

Now that is cool.... Not sure I could get the most out of it since I am a tomahawk guy over axes, but Im definitely going to get one of those stands for my axe crazed friend.

I also like it. Maybe instead of the second top set for SBs, it could have a few straight slots for DBs. My plan was to just buy some guitar wall hangers if they are wide enough to take an axe.
