I found this axe at a colonial site. It measures 3 1/2" total length x 2 5/8" blade width. The only thing I can come up with is it is some kind of light duty Hammer Poll axe. I don't know much about this subject and that is why I'm here. Any ideas on it's age and what it was used for? Thanks, Rich

I did. I didn't learn anything. I sent them an e-mail with the photo but it came back to me. "No such address". I'm still searching.......
