Axe identification

Hi all,
I have an old axe with an 'N' stamped into the side of the head and I was wondering if anyone might know what brand it is? (I'm in Australia, if that helps)
I have a picture, but haven't figured out how to post a pic yet.

Yes A17 and Steve Tall, that is exactly what the 'N' stamp looks like on my axe.....any ideas what it is?

No good matches (with a known trademark of an axe manufacturer or seller) that I know of.
