I stumbled across this forum looking for a place where other axe enthusiasts gathered. It looks like a great place with lots of great information. I've been collecting/buying/selling axes & hatchets for a few years now and have come across a few nice ones here and there, but they are tough to find in good shape.
Anyways, I have a specific question! Has anyone ever heard of the Ioway Chief axe? It's fairly large, 4lbs+, and has a huge embossed image of an Indian Chief. On the reverse it has a True Temper stamp. Any information/value on this axe would be appreciated. I found one and I really want it, but I wish I had more information before I made the big step of emptying my wallet to take it home with me.
