Axe restoration - 1st time carving a handle

Hi all,

Got a box of 20 or so axe heads for $100 AUD.

This head had no markings but I assume it's a Kelly.
Carved the handle out of an Ironbark split post which turned out okay looking but has checked a fair bit. Probably will have to choose a different timber next time.
