So in order for us to get this going, we will need to do the following -

I will start a topic of getting the approval for our forum in here - Forum: Tech Support, General Q&A, Site Feedback & More

I will basically copy what Agent H already put in the other thread (#1 thank you for all that info, and #2 hope you don't mind me basically stealing what you put, but it seemed to be for the greater good)

I will need as many of you to then reply on the thread in support, so we can show that many are interested in it, would be willing to use it, etc.

As far as the specs, who can use it, sell, buy on it, I haven't gotten that far on that yet, but normal bladeforum rules would apply I am sure, such as -

Please note: Selling on these forums is restricted to BladeForums.com Gold & Platinum Members and subscribed Dealers only. Buying is open to all

I will be willing to mod it as I have stated, I just need to see if I am then allowed to participate in it then, or if that is a conflict of interest.

So lets get the ball rolling on this and see what happens. Worst case scenario we get shot down!

Side note - I am told that I won't have to be mod, the moderators in the exchange forum will handle it. So we will see how that all works out.

Posted for support. I really hope we can make this happen it would make selling and buying vintage axes much easier than having to use the bay.
 
Done and done. Would be great for informed sellers and buyers to be able to do business.

I would really enjoy seeing this happen. I see alot of axes in the "it followed me home" thread that are more than likely going to be sold - I would love to have a shot at them - what better place to sell them than here.
 
I would personally like to say thank you to Mr 1975 for getting this done. I think this is something BF has needed for a long time. Now it should be easier to hunt for good axes!
 
There's an Axe, Tomahawk, and Hatchet subforum that is very active, with lots of members who buy and sell axes. Seems like it would make sense to have a designated For Sale section dedicated to this broad niche.

No problem! I just brought it up, many others on here started other threads, asked for it, etc, so it is a job well done by the members of the forum overall.

Now, lets get some use out of that new forum!
