hello, i didnt see a intro section so i thought here would be my first post.
i am a retired 54 yo and been hand sharpen my knives since i was a kid. never got past a shaving edge thou. come here to learn

heres a fire axe i just repaired last week. i didnt take it as far as ive seen yall do here, hey but i will from now on!

opps just seen where i cant post pics....i will when my probation is over.

Hi Larm, welcome to Bladeforums!

What style axes do you have and like? Pull up a chair and visit.

As to posting photos, you either need to get a Gold Membership ($30)or higher or use a hosting company like Photobucket. Also, if you have your own website that you can host images on and then link them here, that works too.

for the record, i retired after 25 years from a civil service job at 50...i would bet, i am brokest guy on here.
anyways, enjoy restoring anything with a edge.

Welcome to the forums - I only recently got into axe restoration myself! Currently waiting around on handles for my projects... also, nothing to be humble about! Those are some mighty fine looking axes there buddy!
