Axis Lock AFCK Scans

Have to ask-was the spacer improved (material-wise)?
I know I'll buy a couple regardless...

Dexter, as you know the demand (pressure) for a knife like this has been guite severe from the Benchmade fans. Now, comparing to a 710. Which one do you prefer??

This kinda has me thinking, I'm wondering if I could transplant the blade on my M2 710 to the Axis AFCK handle? The best of both worlds to me, I like the 710 blade more but definately prefer the AFCK handle, doing a blade swap would make it too good.

In order to swap the blades, the 710's blade would have to fit into the AFCK's handle when closed (the spacer might get in the way), and the cut out for the Axis bar must match exactly for the blade to lock properly. :)

Anybody know if the 410 Stainless liners will make this more rigid than the old one? I think the original had titanium liners and the flexibility of the handle is my only complaint about it. And a very small one at that. Thanks.

Yes, more rigid. The liners are a bit thicker than those on the regular AFCK

Heh, I have been one of the ones emailing and calling them about an Axis AFCK too :D I'd prefer the AFCK. The handle feels more secure than that of the 710 due to the large finger recess. And the blade hole makes getting at the blade with either hand very easy.

Great long awaited knife.
But I need a mini.
I wonder if in the future there any plans for a mini?
