so I have a 940-2 and I’ve noticed when I flick it out (not super hard like some people I actually care for my lock bar) something seems to happen because when I pull the axis lock to close it makes a clicking noise almost as if it’s stuck/wedged, I have put stronger gauge wire omege springs so the axis lock is stronger, it’s not because it needs broken in as I’ve had it a year now and flick it almost everyday, and it’s kept clean, is doesn’t always do this but most of the time It does unless I put a light amount of pressure on the opposite side to were my I flick it from. Is this normal ? Please help it’s really annoying

Sounds like a bit of lock-stick. A couple of my axis locks stick a tiny bit, but only if I open them hard. Since I typically only slowly roll them open I get no lock-stick. I should think that putting stronger Omega springs in would make the lock bar stick even more.

I agree it sounds like lock stick, especially with "stronger" aftermarket omega springs in there. It occasionally happens with the stock springs. Other causes could be an imbalence in tension between the two aftermarket springs, or over lubrication. Put the stock springs back in and you'll probably fix the issue. Aftermarket springs are completely unnecessary IMO.

Agreed, but I’d advise him to try some oil first. A little lubing might stop the noise.
